This was a really bad day to do all of our shopping. All of the big shops were closed as it was Sunday. Only the market was open. You have to visit a million market stands before you can round up all of the things you need. Tom was really angry that day because of the unbearable heat and didn’t want to discuss anything anymore. Maybe it didn’t help that Emmanuel and I were doing all of the shopping and left Tom in the blazing sun to guard the motorcycle.
In the afternoon, we dropped the bike and saddlebags at our hotel and went into town to eat at la Bronzetta, a lovely place owned by Stéphane, a québécois. It was an expensive last meal, but well worth it. The food was absolutely delicious.
